Lovely camping in Drenthe at De Tien Heugten

Imagine for a moment: you wake up to the chirping of the birds, the fresh morning dew is on the grass, and you smell the scent of fresh coffee. This is what a morning can look like at Holiday Resort De Tien Heugten when you opt for one of our spacious pitches. The Standard pitch has 6 ampere electricity and a central water tap and drain. Comfort pitches have 10-ampere electricity, their own water tap and drain as well as a cable TV connection. Both types of pitches also have a parking space for your car. We also have pitches where you can spend the night with just a tent (6 ampere electricity), perfect for when you are on a hiking or biking holiday through the beautiful Drenthe! Extra fun: your faithful four-legged friend is welcome on all of our pitches.

When you come camping at Recreatiepark De Tien Heugten, you can choose from different camping pitches: Standard and Comfort. The Standard pitches have 6-amp electricity (1320 Watt), a central water tap, and water drainage. The Comfort pitches have 10-amp electricity (2200 Watt), their own water tap, water drainage, and a Full-HD cable TV connection. There is a parking spot for the car at all camping pitches. There is enough space around the camping pitches for a set of outdoor furniture where you can sit and play games. In addition, almost every camping field has play equipment where the kids can have a great time while you read a book at your camping pitch!

Things to do at the campground and in the area around Schoonloo

There is something to do for everyone during your camping holiday in Drenthe, both at the campsite and in the surrounding area! Take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and race down the slide, enjoy something to eat at our pleasant bistro and hit a hole-in-one on the miniature golf course. Would you like to explore the area around Schoonloo? Rent a bicycle and discover the natural beauty with many heaths, forests and fens. Drenthe is known for its dolmens, which is why you should not miss out on the dolmen center in Borger. You can get there by bicycle in 25 minutes! Looking for a little action? Pay a visit to Drouwenerzand Amusement Park, where you will find many spectacular ride for the whole family.

Spacious pitches at De Tien Heugten

Of course, we understand that a few days of camping is far too short to discover the beautiful Drenthe. Schoonloo and its surroundings have so many beautiful things to offer! There are also seasonal pitches available for those who would like to enjoy De Tien Heugten and its surroundings year-round.  Set up your tent or caravan at the beginning of the year and you can leave it until the end of the season. That way you can always enjoy a spontaneous weekend getaway. Now that is the ultimate camping experience! In order to enter the resort by car, you will receive a barrier pass from us. Please note that the barrier is closed between 11 PM and 7 AM. There is a large parking lot at the entrance to the resort for a 2nd car or for when you have visitors.

🐶 Are dogs welcome on the camping fields?

We understand all too well that a camping holiday would not be complete without your four-legged friend. That's why dogs are more than welcome at Recreatiepark De Tien Heugten! A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per camping pitch. Please note: dogs must be kept on a leash on the camping fields and inside the park.

👧🏼 How many persons can a camping pitch accommodate?

The Standard camping pitches, as well as the Comfort camping pitches, are suitable for camping equipment for a maximum of 4 persons. The camping pitches can be booked from 2 persons and are not suitable for young people traveling alone.
